What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is a holistic complimentary treatment.

It treats the whole person, rather than a symptom. Reflexologists consider that all the parts of the body are connected by subtle energy which flows down the body from the head to the feet through channels. When these channels become blocked and the energy is disturbed, there is illness and discomfort.

Reflexology is holistic, relaxing and healing

By working on the feet, the practitioner unblocks energies.

This allows the energy to flow and restore balance. This also relaxes the body, enhances the circulation and relieves the symptoms of illness. You may feel immediate relief; but long standing conditions may require repeated treatments as the healing begins on a deeper level.

Reflexologists believe the body heals itself from the inside out.

Sometimes because of this, symptoms may become worse for a while and then the benefits become more pronounced.

Healing Crystals

I use the healing power of crystals in my reflexology treatments. I use a Clear Quartz crystal (most powerful healing and energy amplifier on the planet) as well as a Smoky Quartz (most efficient grounding and anchoring stone). I use a Tiger’s Eye (for issues of self-worth and blocked creativity) and Sodalite (opens spiritual perception and balances metabolism). Of course, I use a Rose Quartz (the most important crystal for the heart and the heart chakra). Please see the Crystals page for more detailed qualities of the crystals.
